Privacy Policy

Priyush Traders is a business based in India that supplies Indian rice through a network of authorised distributors. For the personal data described here we are the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

• When you apply: your company name, your name, email address, phone number, country and city, and your answers about your business. • When you have an account: your email address, your sign-in details and your language and currency preferences. Passwords are stored only as a secure hash by our sign-in provider; we never see them. • When you trade with us: the orders you place, the documents you upload and anything you send through the feedback form. • Technical data: server logs such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request, kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.

We use your data to review your application and contact you about it, to open and run your account, to process your orders and documents, to email you about your application and orders, to keep the service secure and prevent abuse, and to meet our legal obligations such as tax and accounting.

We rely on the consent you give on the application form, and on the uses Indian law allows without consent, such as complying with the law. We do not sell personal data, use it for advertising, or run analytics or advertising trackers.

Our staff see your data only as far as their role needs. We use a small number of service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage, hosted in Mumbai, India), Cloudflare (website delivery and security) and Resend (sending email). We also disclose data where the law requires us to.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The website and app store your sign-in session and your preferences, such as language and colour scheme, on your device so that you stay signed in and the app looks the way you left it.

• Applications that do not proceed: up to 24 months, then deleted. • Accounts and order records: while your account is active, and afterwards for as long as Indian tax and accounting law requires. • Server logs: for the short periods our hosting providers set.

You may ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or update it, ask us to erase it (except where the law requires us to keep it), withdraw your consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before, but we may then be unable to continue with your application or account.

Write to us at contact@priyushtrader.com. We aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Connections to the website and app are encrypted. Access to data is limited by role inside the database itself, and uploaded documents are kept in private storage. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.

This service is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect children's personal data.

We may update this policy. The date at the top says when it last changed, and we will email account holders about any significant change.
